A fifteen-year-old magic student beginning his third year at the Royal Academy, who prefers isolation to his overbearing family.
Zorian is a fifteen-year-old boy with a skinny physique who wears glasses. He prefers to dress in plain brown outfits when going into the city, though his mother forces him to wear pricier clothes to maintain appearances.
Zorian wakes up to his annoying family in Cirin, receives his certification from Ilsa Zileti, and travels by train to Cyoria. Along the way, he helps a little girl by using magic to recover her bike before arriving at his third-year academy dorm.
Questions the Guardian about the time loop's mechanics, restarts the loop, brings Zach home to meet his family, and later introduces Zach to Xvim in Cyoria.
