A large spider creature whose black chitin is harvested to make armor and gear. This gear is considered nearly as good as Pallassian steel but cheaper.
These creatures are mentioned twice: first by the Gnoll hunter as a reason for abandoning half his kill, and second as the bounty the aggressive Gnoll is turning in.
