Chapter 1.02
Erin Solstice successfully defends The Wandering Inn from a goblin raid, earning Innkeeper Level 4. Meanwhile, a tiny goblin observer returns to its tribe's cave to report the failure to their massive Chieftain.
Erin Solstice faces a sudden threat at The Wandering Inn when a group of raiding goblins attacks her. Relying on her wits and sheer desperation, she fights back against the intruders. During the struggle, Erin incapacitates one of the attackers by delivering a swift kick to its groin, disabling the goblin who is subsequently noted as "Injured Crotch."
Having successfully repelled the raid and defended her new home, Erin is rewarded with a notification that she has reached Innkeeper Level 4. In the aftermath, details emerge about the Amentus Fruit trees she has encountered. The blue fruits feature a hairy, rubbery outer rind and sweet blueberry-like flesh, but they also contain a highly toxic seed core. Her thoughts also drift back to her life on Earth, briefly referencing her home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the video platform YouTube.
Unknown to Erin, the "Littlest Goblin" observes the failed raid from a safe distance. Following the defeat, this tiny observer retreats to the damp, cramped Goblin Cave that serves as home for the struggling Goblin Tribe. There, the massive and unusually intelligent Goblin Chieftain waits. The failed raid highlights the desperate situation of the small tribe as they struggle to survive in the wild.
