Chapter 1.03
Erin discovered that her new [Innkeeper] class allowed her to unconsciously clean the entire inn. While foraging at the stream, she narrowly survived an ambush by a mutant fish that suffocated on land, but she severely injured her own hand while attempting to butcher it.
Erin awoke in The Wandering Inn to a startling realization: the heavy layer of dust and grime that had previously covered the abandoned building was completely gone. She soon deduced that her newly acquired [Innkeeper] class provided the [Basic Cleaning] skill, which she had unconsciously activated to clean the entire structure.
Faced with her ongoing survival situation, Erin likened her predicament to the video game Minecraft, realizing she needed to gather resources and food. Rather than relying solely on the Blue Fruit, she headed toward the stream. Traumatized by her previous encounters with a Goblin and a Rock Crab, she kept a paranoid watch for imaginary threats, half-expecting to be ambushed by a Grass Crab or an Underwater Goblin. To distract herself from her gnawing hunger and mounting anxiety, she recited the moves of the historically famous Immortal Game chess match entirely from memory.
Upon reaching the stream, danger struck when a massive Mutant Fish leaped from the water to ambush her. Fortunately for Erin, the creature missed its target and landed on the riverbank. Unable to return to the water, the fish slowly suffocated and died, leaving Erin with a large, unexpected source of meat.
Desperate for a meal, Erin decided to process the fish. However, lacking proper tools and experience, her attempt to butcher the creature with a knife went disastrously wrong. The blade slipped on the mutant fish's tough scales, and Erin severely sliced open her own left hand. The chapter ends with her suffering from agonizing pain and massive blood loss, turning a stroke of luck into a life-threatening crisis.
Erin realized that the thick layer of dust in The Wandering Inn was gone, confirming she had unconsciously used her new [Basic Cleaning] skill.
