An anti-social, barefoot runner from Earth who works as a messenger in Izril.
Ryoka stands six feet and one inch tall with long legs, light brown skin, and black hair tied in a ponytail. She runs entirely barefoot, wearing an off-grey tunic, leggings, and carrying a rucksack, along with an odd rectangular device attached to her ears via a red string.
Ryoka evades a Goblin ambush, arrives at the city of Celum, and delivers a valuable package to Lady Magnolia. Her true name and anti-social personality are revealed at the chapter's close.
Ryoka turns in a lucrative delivery at the Remendia Runner's Guild, fends off friendly advances from Garia, and passive-aggressively agrees to a senior Runner's demand that she stop taking the best jobs. She runs thirty miles to Wales, reflecting on her Earth origins and resentment of the leveling system, which she actively suppresses before falling asleep.
