Chapter 1.09
Erin Solstice levels up as an [Innkeeper] and gains the [Basic Crafting] skill. Shortly after, Relc and Klbkch attempt to arrest Pisces at the inn, but the mage escapes using a clever illusion.
Erin Solstice woke up to a pleasant surprise: overnight, she had leveled up in her [Innkeeper] class and acquired the [Basic Crafting] skill. However, her peaceful morning at The Wandering Inn was quickly interrupted by the arrival of the City Watch.
Relc and Klbkch entered the inn with a clear objective to arrest Pisces. Presenting his Senior Guardsman Badge, Relc initiated the confrontation. The two guards successfully restrained the [Necromancer] using a specialized spell-bind rope. To ensure they had the right culprit, Klbkch utilized his [Detect Guilt] skill, verifying Pisces's guilt regarding his crimes.
The victory for the guards proved to be short-lived. Shortly after seemingly securing their prisoner, they discovered that the restrained Pisces was nothing more than a magical illusion. The real Pisces had completely bypassed Klbkch's senses and already managed to slip away undetected.
Infuriated by the deception, Relc quickly departed the inn to coordinate with the City Watch and organize a massive manhunt for the escaped mage. With the guards gone and her controversial patron missing, Erin was left behind in the sudden quiet of her inn to process the morning's chaotic events.

“I don’t want it anyways. Besides, you tried to rob me last time. You’re here on sufferance because I feel bad for you.”
“Do you want something? I don’t do magic upon request. If you seek a certain spell, I would be happy to discuss my remunerations…later.”
“Regardless if you know my identity or not, I still believe you will find capturing me no easy task.”
“Anyways, we’ve gotta pay a fine if we lose it, so why risk it, right? I only need it when I want to prove who I am or pull rank, anyways.”
“I guess. I haven’t ever tried that, and besides, I don’t have a hammer. Actually, I’ve never swung a hammer in my life.”
“You’re still under arrest. I can hit you. It’s only because I’m being considerate of Miss Solstice here that I don’t. But I will. If you don’t shut up.”
“I am a powerful [Mage] far beyond your capabilities. Even if your paltry Skills cannot detect my—capabilities—you would do well to be wary of my hidden…capabilities.”
“I am unsure of when he left. He may have escaped only a few minutes ago. We may still catch him if we hurry.”
“I would be only too happy to. But I fear I was quite parched, and if you would be so good…?”
