Chapter 1.12
Erin explores the market in Liscor before being ambushed by Goblins on her way back to the inn. Relc arrives in time to save her, dispatching two of the Goblins before escorting her the rest of the way. Meanwhile, the Goblin Chieftain discovers that some of his tribe are missing.
At dawn, a sleepy Goblin Warrior stands guard outside his tribe's cave. Inside, the Goblin Chieftain awakens and realizes that several of his goblins are missing from the camp.
Meanwhile, Erin explores the city of Liscor. Taking in the sights, she compares the city's architecture to that of Europe on Earth. She visits the market and speaks with Krshia at Krshia's Silverfang Goods, where she learns that the xenophobic Drake shopkeeper she previously encountered is named Lism.
After finishing her business in the city, Erin begins her trek back to the inn. During her journey, she is ambushed by three Goblins—the littlest Goblin and two older Goblins—who attempt to steal her belongings.
Back in Liscor, Relc abruptly leaves a conversation with a blue-scaled Drake and a green Drake in the guard mess hall. He sprints out into the fields to check on Erin and arrives just in time to interrupt the Goblin ambush. Using his [Iron Scales] skill, Relc effortlessly kills and beheads the two older Goblins, though the littlest Goblin survives the encounter.
Relc escorts Erin the rest of the way, ensuring she safely returns to the inn. Following the harrowing event, Erin receives a system notification that she has reached level 6 in her [Innkeeper] class.

“It was the last skill I got from my [Sergeant] class. I think you get it in [Spearmaster] as well, but I don’t know. Either way, it’s a life-saver.”
“Look, I know I was sort of—okay, I was rude, but let’s talk. Hello? Are you listening?”
“Got you bastards. You can’t run from Relc! Damn, I thought there were three of you? Whatever. If Erin doesn’t love this—now I need to find some wood. Damn. I should be having dinner!”
“Look, I’m still really sorry about before. I didn’t mean—well, I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”
“I still don’t get it. There’s no scales, nothing firm to grab. What’s the point?”
“Too bad I never got any dagger skills. I can’t understand how this stupid flipping works.”
“I need to buy fresher pillows. And blankets. Or laundry detergent. When I have the money for it.”
“I’m looking for some flour, salt, butter, oil, and sugar. Oh! And yeast. I’ll need yeast too. If you have it.”
