Ryoka completes a dangerous emergency run to the Ruins of Albez, saving the Horns of Hammerad from a Lich. She returns to the Runner's Guild, outmaneuvers her rival Persua for a lucrative job, and makes a delivery to Lady Magnolia Reinhart, who uses a powerful Skill to interrogate her.
In the Ruins of Albez, an area saturated by a leyline, the Silver-rank adventuring party Horns of Hammerad battles a powerful Lich and its undead minions. During the fight, the Minotaur captain, Calruz, suffers a severe injury from an ice spike. Ryoka arrives in the middle of the active combat zone on an Emergency Run, successfully delivering vital healing potions. Calruz drinks a potion, recovers from his grave injuries, and leads Gerial, Marian, and the rest of his fully restored party in a renewed assault against the Lich.
Having survived the battlefield delivery, Ryoka returns to the Runner's Guild. There, a lucrative delivery meant for Lady Magnolia Reinhart arrives, brought in part by a Remendia Runner. Persua and her cronies, Claudeil and Toriska, attempt to claim the prestigious job for themselves. However, the Green-haired Receptionist awards the delivery to Ryoka as a reward for her recently successful, high-risk emergency run.
Ryoka travels to Lady Magnolia Reinhart's estate to complete the delivery. Upon arriving, she is greeted by the maid Ressa and meets Magnolia herself. During their interaction, Magnolia reveals she possesses the [Sense Intentions] Skill, which she utilizes to exert pressure on Ryoka, effectively compelling the reluctant Runner to remain seated for a conversation.
Ryoka arrives at the Ruins of Albez during an active battle to deliver healing potions to the Horns of Hammerad.
After drinking the delivered potion, the severely wounded Minotaur Calruz heals and leads his party in an assault against the Lich.
