Ryoka evades a Goblin ambush, arrives at the city of Celum, and delivers a valuable package to Lady Magnolia. Her true name and anti-social personality are revealed at the chapter's close.

Travels to Esthelm to ask Ceria to teach her magic, successfully unlocking her innate potential and casting a unique, color-shifting [Light] spell that drains all her mana.

Ryoka recovers from casting her first spell by devouring a massive meal and discusses magic with Ceria. She reluctantly socializes in the mess hall, recounts her journey through the High Passes, and is challenged to a fight by Yvlon.
