Calruz forcefully argues that the assembled captains should raid the Ruins of Albez. Later, he overhears that Ryoka survived the High Passes, seeks her out in the mess hall, and defends her against Yvlon's intrusive questions.

Garia explains that Calruz gathered his adventuring members and led them out of the city towards Esthelm.
