Chapter 1.07
Erin gains the [Basic Crafting] Skill and weaves a grass basket, but struggles with hostile wildlife before Goblins steal her new item. Meanwhile, Relc and Klbkch are diverted from visiting her to stop a brawl, leaving Erin alone when a terrifying undead creature breaches her inn.
Erin levels up and acquires the [Basic Crafting] Skill, allowing her to instinctively weave a durable grass basket. Armed with her new item, she sets out to gather food and water but quickly faces the dangers of the surrounding wilderness. She is attacked and pecked by a camouflaged Dino-bird, repels aggressive Rock crabs by splashing them with noxious Blue fruit seed cores, and watches Flatfish die instantly after consuming pieces of the toxic fruit.
While Erin is foraging, a group of six Goblins approaches the stream and steals her woven basket and water to take back to their [Chieftain]. Among the group, an Older Goblin with the [Gatherer] Class uses [Detect Poison] to safely sort their scavenged Blue fruit. Observing this process, the Littlest Goblin independently figures out how to identify the poisonous fruits, noting that the lethal ones have mushy, decomposing interiors caused by compromised seed cores.
At the Watch Barracks in Liscor, Relc and Klbkch are preparing to visit Erin at her inn. However, their plans are interrupted when Captain Zevara orders the [Spearmaster] and the Antinium Guard to the Marketplace to break up a brawl.
Back at The Wandering Inn, Erin cleans the establishment and waits for potential customers. Her peaceful wait is shattered when a terrifying, rotting Skeletal Creature violently forces the inn's door open and demands food from her.

“Shut up and get moving! I need everyone there, now.”
“A pity. But I will have you provide me with sustenance nevertheless.”
“I could eat mushrooms! Or…maybe not mushrooms because ick. Or bugs? Wait—that’s just as bad. Plants, then. Herbs. And blue fruits. Okay—this fruit and this fruit and this fruit.”
“Alright, let’s go. Man, I really hate Captain Z.”
“They said they’d visit. But did they mean that or are they busy? Either way, I can always make more pasta and save some for later, right?”
“…Looks like I’ve got a few weeks before I run out. But bleh, eating just blue fruit all the time would be disgusting. At least there’s some ingredients left for pasta if I can find more eggs.”
“Seriously. They were so normal. But apparently I’m normal too. There are other Humans around here at least. But leveling? Classes? Am I an [Innkeeper]? Do I innkeep? How does that work?”
“And all because of that little Goblin. Huh.”
“I know, I know. But I was going to eat more pasta and—”
