Erin Solstice fled a Dragon and Goblins in a storm and took refuge in an abandoned hilltop inn. As she cleaned and decided to stay, bracketed messages awarded her the Innkeeper class, Level 1, and two basic skills.
Erin Solstice discovered an Amentus Fruit, learned its seed pod pulp was toxic, and used it to scare off a Rock Crab. She raced back to The Wandering Inn with Goblins in pursuit, barricaded the building, fought inside despite being wounded, and defended the inn, gaining Innkeeper Level 4.
Erin discovered her cleaning seemed to work like a skill, then trekked to a stream for water. A giant flathead fish ambushed her and stranded itself on land, which she butchered for food, cutting her left palm badly. She returned to the inn, improvised a bandage, and endured a painful night.
Erin Solstice discovers a magical cupboard full of preserved food but accidentally breaks it. Her fear escalates when she finds the skeleton in the inn is missing, culminating in a fight with a Goblin scout which she wins, unknowingly scaring off a larger ambush party.
Erin cleaned and reopened the Abandoned Inn, experimented with cooking, and survived an encounter with Acid flies that left her with a mild burn. Smoke from her reignited kitchen drew the attention of the City Watch under Beilmark, who prepared to send a patrol. The chapter ended as Klbkch arrived at Erin’s door and greeted her.
Two members of the City Watch, a Drake named Relc and an Antinium named Klbkch, investigate the smoke from The Wandering Inn and meet Erin Solstice. After a tense introduction, they share a meal, and Klbkch heals Erin's dangerously infected hand with a potion. The positive interaction causes Erin to level up her [Innkeeper] class.
Erin wakes with a healed hand and a new [Basic Crafting] skill, which she uses to gather blue fruits. She suffers severe food poisoning after eating them, inadvertently learning some are poisonous. The day ends with a terrifying Skeletal Monstrosity trying to break into The Wandering Inn.
Erin Solstice confronted a mage using invisibility to scam her, knocked him out with a pan, and made him pay before feeding him. Over a meal of safely prepared Amentus Fruit, they discussed Liscor, Drakes, Wistram Academy, and the possibility that Erin arrived via teleportation. Pisces admitted an interest in necromancy and left, leaving a wary, transactional understanding between them.
A verbose mage named Pisces arrives at The Wandering Inn, only to be identified as a wanted Necromancer by the guardsmen Relc and Klbkch. Before he can be arrested, Pisces creates a magical illusion to distract his captors and escapes, prompting the guardsmen to give chase.
Erin Solstice discovers a fugitive [Mage], Pisces, hiding in her inn, only for the guards Relc and Klbkch to burst in and capture him. When Relc attempts to execute Pisces, Erin intervenes, successfully declaring her inn sovereign territory and forcing the guards to leave empty-handed.
Realizing her food supplies are dwindling, Erin Solstice travels to the city of Liscor for the first time. She explores the city populated by Drakes and Gnolls and visits the Adventurer's Guild, where she is immediately confronted and bullied by an aggressive Gnoll adventurer.
Erin Solace visits a Drake city market where she is ostracized and scammed out of her money. On her way back to the inn, she is ambushed by Goblins and saved by Relc, an act which inadvertently earns the wrath of the Goblin Chieftain.
